The expansion joints made by Nic Ab company are sliding type with sliding surfaces made of stainless steel. The longitudinal movement of these joints is equal to ±100 mm and they are used to prevent damage to pipeline components and equipment due to forces caused by expansion and contraction. Due to their special design, unlike bellows types, these joints can withstand high pressures. Another application of these joints is the protection of pipelines in places where there is a possibility of damage to components and equipment due to the forces caused by earthquakes (such as the entrance of pipelines to pumping stations, valve houses, tanks, etc.).

Excellent mechanical resistance against the forces applied by the pipeline, long life of the sealing system due to the use of stainless steel sliding surfaces that prevent changes in shape and tear of the seals, relatively large longitudinal movement are among the advantages of this product. These connections are produced up to 220 °C according to the order.
